About Me:
Twelve years ago after I quit being a professional athlete in roller figure skating I discovered my interest for games, computers and movies. I spent a lot of time being creative and wanted to learn new things. The love of creativity got me into cosplay and drawing. After I graduated school I thought why not turning my hobby into a job and this thought brought me to the point where I stand at the moment.
In 2021 I received my bachelor’s degree in Game Design at the Mediadesign Hochschule in Düsseldorf, Germany. During my university I focused on Level design, Concept Art and worked as some kind of creative director/ team lead for the game projects we did in our teams. I am very thankful that our professors gave us a lot of practical work. I learned a lot thanks to this. We worked with software’s like Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Unreal Engine, Substance Painter and Autodesk Maya.
In my free time and during my university internship I worked on set as a set designer and set dresser for one of Germany’s biggest daily shows. I always loved to look behind the scenes and discover how games and movies are made. I combined these two interests of mine and dedicated my Bachelor thesis about the topic how the Unreal Engine is used for making movies and shows like ‚The Mandalorian‘ and ‚Game of Thrones‘.
Interests
I’m passionate about games, especially MMORPGs, shooters, and pen & paper RPGs. Playing Aion and Final Fantasy XIV was a major inspiration for me to study game design and sparked my interest in creating engaging interactive experiences. I enjoy exploring different genres and mechanics, both as a player and as a designer.
Outside of gaming, I’ve been actively cosplaying for over eight years, which has taught me creativity, attention to detail, and the joy of bringing characters to life. I stay active through sports and have a long-standing enthusiasm for the Harry Potter universe. These hobbies help me stay balanced, inspired, and connected to communities that share my passions.
